Power Café! To be run fully by adults with disabilities

A wonderful project is in the works!

A business enterprise that helps a social cause with meaningful impact – to open a café in the Boston area run entirely by people with disabilities. The tagline says it all – “Creating opportunities for people with all abilities, one cup of coffee at a time.”

Galit Schwartz, an area resident and a volunteer at the Learning Program sponsored by the Boston Children’s Hospital, is spearheading the effort. Currently, she is raising funds at Indiegogo with a target of $50,000. Please click here to learn more and contribute. Her effort was also featured, last week, in the Brookline Tab.
