Essex Day Trip on Sept 14 – Waltham Council on Aging

The Essex Day Trip begins with a private charter on board the Essex River Queen I.

The cruise includes a full 1 1/2 hour narrated tour of the Essex River. It will explore the salt marsh and navigate within a protected bay.

Lunch will be offered at Woodman’s with choices of a fried clam plate, fried scallop plate or fried combo plate (fish, scallops, clams and shrimp) served with fries and onion rings, water or lemonade.

After lunch the bus will stop at Russell Orchards in Ipswich.

Dessert & coffee is on your own!

Where: Bus will depart at 8:30 AM from the Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot
When: Wednesday, September 14, 2014
Starting at 8:30 AM and returning around 4:30 PM
What to Wear: Temperatures tend be lower than on land while cruising in coastal waters. Hence, dress accordingly. Also, please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
